I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2008 and served four years with 1st Battalion, 9th Marines out of Camp Lejeune. I deployed with the 24th MEU for the Haiti earthquake relief and later to Afghanistan.
After the Marine Corps, I went back to school and earned my doctorate in business administration. The whole way through, I kept thinking about how to use it to help my fellow veterans. Veterans start businesses at a higher rate than almost anyone, but they're often hard to find. There's no single place that puts them together and says these are the people who served.

Rally Point is operated by Sentinel Vendor Risk Group LLC ("Sentinel," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Rally Point, you agree to these Terms.
Rally Point is an online directory where veteran-owned businesses can create a paid listing, and where customers and job seekers can find, review, and contact those businesses. Rally Point also offers a veteran events board, job postings, and related community features.
Every business owner must submit proof of military service (such as a VA ID, a state ID with a Veteran designation, or a redacted DD-214) before their listing becomes public. Listings stay hidden until a Rally Point reviewer approves the document, and approved listings display a β verified badge. The badge means a Rally Point reviewer examined the submitted document; it is not a guarantee by a government agency or third-party verification service. Proof-of-service files are deleted after review, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
Each business listing has its own subscription: Regular at $10/month or $100/year, or Pro at $20/month or $200/year. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and deleting a listing cancels that listing's subscription. Optional paid extras include featuring an event or deal ($25 for 14 days; Pro listings get one free feature each month), boosting a listing ($5 for 7 days), and employer job posts ($79 for 30 days). Prices are shown before you pay, and applicable sales tax may be added at checkout.
Promotional offers. Offers such as the Founding Member code (FOUNDER: the first 6 monthly payments free, limited to the first 100 businesses, monthly plans only) apply as described at signup. When a promotional period ends, your subscription continues at the regular price unless you cancel before then. We may end or change an offer for new signups at any time; this won't affect offers already applied.
Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including partial months, except that a job post we decline to publish is refunded in full. You can cancel anytime, and your listing stays active through the end of the period you already paid for.
Business owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing content (description, hours, address, photos, pricing, etc.).
Affiliate program. Members may share a personal referral link. When a new veteran business owner signs up through that link and pays for their first listing, the referrer earns a one-time reward of $5 (Regular) or $10 (Pro), payable after the listing has been verified and paid for 30 days. Promo-code listings, self-referrals, and fake or duplicate accounts don't qualify, and we may void rewards we believe were earned through fraud. PayPal payouts are sent monthly once a balance reaches $25; listing credit is applied to the member's own Rally Point billing. Members who promote their link must disclose it (for example, #ad or #affiliate). We may require tax information before paying out, and we may change or end the program at any time; rewards already earned will still be honored.
Reviews reflect the opinions of the individual customers who wrote them, not Rally Point. We do not independently verify that a review reflects an actual transaction. Reviews may not be defamatory, fraudulent, or posted in exchange for compensation without disclosure.
Rally Point is a platform connecting job seekers and businesses; we are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, any resulting employment relationship, its terms, or any hiring decision. Businesses are responsible for their own compliance with employment law.
You may not: post false or misleading business information; impersonate another person or business; use the platform to harass, defraud, or spam other users; or attempt to interfere with the platform's operation or security.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile or at therallypoint.co/delete-account.html.
Rally Point is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, review, or job posting. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentinel Vendor Risk Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms as Rally Point grows. If we make material changes, such as changes to pricing or your rights, we will notify registered users by email or with a notice on the site before the changes take effect. Price changes to an existing subscription apply starting with your next billing period. Continued use of Rally Point after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Rally Point (therallypoint.co and the Rally Point mobile app) is operated by Sentinel Vendor Risk Group LLC, a veteran-owned company based in Pennsylvania ("Rally Point," "we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Account info: name, email, phone, and password. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
Business listing info: business name, category, description, address, phone, website, social links, hours, logo and photos, and verification status.
Proof of military service: if you upload a document to verify your service (such as a VA ID, a state ID with a Veteran designation, or a redacted DD-214), only Rally Point reviewers can see it. It is never shown publicly, and we delete the file permanently once we make a decision. Please black out your Social Security number and address before uploading.
Affiliate program (optional): who signed up through your referral link, the rewards you've earned, your payout choice, and the PayPal email you give us for payouts.
Job applications: if you apply to a job, the business receives your name, email, phone, experience, availability, message, portfolio link, and any resume or resume summary you choose to include.
Reviews: your name and review are publicly visible on the business's page.
Events: events you post, including name, date, location, and description, are publicly visible.
Location: if you use "Near you" search, your browser or device asks permission first. We use your location only to calculate distance and do not store it.
Usage data: we log page views and contact-button clicks (phone, website, directions) per business so owners can see stats for their own listing. To measure overall use, we also record anonymous visits: the page, the referring website, device type, and approximate city and state. These records are tied only to a random ID stored in your browser. We store no name, email, or IP address with them, and we delete them after 90 days. We also save your activity in features like Daily Muster, such as streaks, so they carry over between visits.
Payment info: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
We use your information to: run your account; display listings, events, and reviews; deliver job applications; verify veteran-owned businesses; process subscriptions, track affiliate referrals, and send payouts; show business owners stats for their own listings; send account and billing emails, such as receipts, verification updates, and policy changes; and prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service working. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, login, and file storage), Netlify (website hosting), Cloudflare (cookie-free site analytics), Google Maps (address lookup and maps), and PayPal (affiliate payouts). They handle data only to provide their services to us.
Businesses you contact: when you apply to a job, the business receives your application.
The public: business listings, reviews, and events are visible to anyone.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or others.
Business transfer: if Rally Point is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We keep account and listing data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from your profile or at therallypoint.co/delete-account.html. Deletion is completed within 30 days. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires, such as tax and payment records. Proof-of-service files are deleted once reviewed, and anonymous visit data is deleted after 90 days.
You can edit or delete your listing, photos, profile, and saved favorites at any time. You can decline location access and still use everything except "Near you" search. You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us (Section 10). Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor them.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and generate the anonymous visit ID described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Rally Point is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard infrastructure: Supabase for authentication and encrypted data storage, and Stripe for payments. New passwords are checked against known data-breach lists without your password ever being sent. Access to user data, including proof-of-service files, is limited to Rally Point administrators who need it. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we follow established best practices and keep our systems updated. If you have a security concern, contact us right away (Section 10).
We may update this policy as Rally Point grows. If we make material changes, such as collecting new kinds of information or sharing it in new ways, we will notify registered users by email or with a notice on the site before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. If you keep using Rally Point after changes take effect, the updated policy applies.
